Oliver's parents own a bank. This makes them very rich, very important and very busy. Oliver, on the other hand, is terrible at maths and aspires to nothing more than owning the puppy that he frequently visits at his local pet shop.


When a mysterious woman threatens to harm the puppy if Oliver can't remake her fortune (unfortunately, Oliver's parents seem to have misplaced her investment. Something to do with some stuff on the news) Oliver hatches a plan which will take him further than he ever imagined...

Morris Gleitzman

Morris Gleitzman est né en Angleterre le 9 janvier 1953. Après être passé
par tous les petits boulots imaginables, il décide d'émigrer en Australie pour
vivre de sa passion et se consacrer à l'écriture pour la jeunesse. Son premier
roman à succès, Two weeks with the Queen, paraît en 1990. Les romans qui
suivent, drôles et piquants, à l'humour anglais si particulier, séduisent très vite les australiens. Morris Gleitzman devient rapidement l'un des auteurs les plus réputés d'Australie, et sa notoriété rayonne aujourd'hui dans le monde entier.
