Anglais Sammode ; pump up the light (édition en anglais)

À propos

Designers and manufacturers of lighting elements founded in 1927, in 1967 Sammode invented the fluorescent tube, a multipurpose product that soon became a cult. In the 1980s-with, in particular, the lighting for the Grande Halle de la Villette and then for the BNF (National Library of France)-Sammode began a remarkable comeback in the sphere of architecture. Over recent years, the company has supplied an impressive range of designer luminaries for private residences, restaurants and hotels. This book covers the history of the «tube» in conversations with a range of personalities. Unpublished photographs, archive images, conversations, and artists' carte blanches together tell the story of Sammode's unique and specialist position in the industry and history of light...
